PTO volunteer committees and positions are an integral part of helping Peirce run smoothly, and we welcome help from anyone in the school community!  Everything we do relies on committees to organize volunteers and help run events.  There are many ways to get involved, including fundraising, community building, school support, and educational enrichment.  Volunteer roles can be flexible in terms of time commitment levels and responsibilities:  once a year or ongoing, at home or at school, individual or in groups, etc.  There is something for everyone!  Please consider volunteering to support our school–we can’t do it without you!

Outside of the PTO committees there are other ways for parents to get involved throughout the year including:

Room Parent: Room parents help support the teachers in their classroom-based activities, including class parties, and help other class parents become involved. It’s a great way to get involved with your child’s classroom community, and one of the most direct and important ways the PTO helps to enhance and enrich our children’s experience at Peirce. Sign up information is available in early September!

Help in the Library: One of the nicest places to spend time is in the library, the heart of Peirce. Volunteers provide assistance to students, check books in and out, and perform general library duties. You can sign up to volunteer during your child’s classroom library time, which makes this a great way to see your child in action. Sign up information is available in early September!

We welcome your ideas and support! Please feel free to email if you have any questions or want to learn more.
