We have lots to look forward to at Peirce this spring and welcome your help! Please read about two of our upcoming events and ways you can participate in making them a success.
NewtonSERVES:
- This year’s event will take place throughout the day on Sunday, May 7th. It’s a family-friendly volunteer opportunity that helps Peirce shine! We will clean up the school (outdoors) and do specific landscaping projects. Work can include weeding, cleaning up trash, planting and laying mulch. Event planners could use 1 or 2 more people on the team to help prepare for the day. If interested in joining the planning team, please contact: Robert McGehee at [email protected].
- On the day itself, we will also need lots of families to come out for a shift. If interested in volunteering to help on May 7th, please look out for a sign-up coming via email.
Family Dance:
- This year’s family dance will be held on Friday, June 9th. There are two ways to help. The planners are looking to build a team of 3 or 4 people to help in advance of the dance. This would require a few evening zoom calls. The team will also need help on the day of the picnic. Help with set-up, break down, handing out pizza and water will all be needed!
- If interested in being on the planning team, please contact: Jaime Mason at [email protected].
- If interested in working a shift at the picnic please watch out for a forthcoming email with sign-up information.
