Call for Library Volunteers!
Our librarian, Mr. Harper, would like help in the library from parent volunteers during class time. If you would like to be part of your child’s classroom to help check out, shelve and return books, and learn more about the wonderful discovery of books in the library with Mr. Harper, please sign up. This is a very popular volunteer position for each grade level.
Please make sure you are available on the day and time of your child’s library day. Please see below for your child’s library class time:
MONDAY:
- 2nd Grade: Capodilupo 12:10-12:55PM
- K: Vacca 1-1:30PM
- K: Cox 1:30-2PM
- 1st Grade: Norvell 2:05-2:50PM
TUESDAY:
- 4th Grade: DiSipio 9:15-9:45AM
- 3rd Grade: Anderson 10:30-11AM
- 2nd Grade: Salzsieder 12:10-12:55PM
- K: Leone 1:10-1:40PM
- 1st Grade: Tracey 2-2:45PM
THURSDAY:
- 3rd Grade: Donahue 10:30-11AM
FRIDAY:
- 4th Grade: Busk 8:30-9AM
- 5th Grade: Beaulieu 9:30-10AM
- 5th Grade: Carey 10-10:30AM
A group volunteer training will be required before the start of parent volunteering. CORI and SORI forms need to be filled out and on file to be in the classroom, and a copy of your driver’s license needs to be on file at the school. The whole process will take a few weeks to complete.
There will be a training session in the library on Tuesday, September 24 from 8:30-9AM.
Library volunteers will start in the library the week of September 30. Anybody interested in helping at the library should be able to do it in some capacity. We will ask each group of parents that sign up for a given class to coordinate internally to make sure there is at least 1 person and at most 2 people in each library session.
