WHEN: Wednesday, June 8th (Rain date – Wednesday, June 22nd)
WHERE: Peirce School Field
TIME: 9:00am – 12:15pm (volunteers report to the Peirce field at 8:30am)
WHAT IS COLOR DAY? Color Day is an event designed to bring a nice ending to the long school year by providing some unity, through recreation and physical activity, with all members of the school involved. The two major ingredients in making this day a success are… First, everyone gets to participate, and second, competition is kept to a minimum. The kids have a blast!
We are actively recruiting parent volunteers to help with the activities. We need about 3 parents per activity. No experience is necessary as Mr. Nye will let volunteers know what to do for each activity. To sign-up, please fill out this form.
PLEASE NOTE: Updated CORI/SORI Forms need to be on file with the main office before volunteering. If you haven’t done so in the past three years, fill out the forms (https://www.newton.k12.ma.us/Page/2145), make a copy of your license, and drop it all off with Patricia (Trisha) Carey. The HR office needs 5 business days to process the paperwork, so please do this asap!
