Join Principal Vargas and members of the Peirce DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) committee on Monday, January 23rd at 8:30 a.m. in the Peirce library for a discussion about Culturally Responsive instruction.  Questions to be addressed include: What is Culturally Responsive Instruction and why is it beneficial to ALL students?  How has the curriculum changed to be more culturally responsive and how will it continue to evolve? What are some goals for teachers and our community for our larger community regarding culturally responsive education?  Peirce staff on the DEI committee will also share relevant resources that have been part of school-wide professional development on this topic.
