Information Night to discuss Changes to In-person Learning: Instead of the scheduled March Parent Coffee, we will have a virtual Parent Information Night on Tuesday, March 16th, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss changes to in-person learning that will take place by April 5th. As plans are finalized, Superintendent David Fleishman will communicate with families, and we will explore this information during our conversation on the 16th. Pajama Drive: Please join us in supporting Cradles to Crayons’ annual PJ Drive! Peirce will be collecting donations of new pajamas through March 5th. Our goal is to collect 250 sets of pajamas, which will be distributed to families in our area who are experiencing clothing insecurity. Collection bins will be outside the front entrance of the school. All sizes are welcome, but their most needed sizes are:
- Girls 2T-5T and 14/16
- Boys 14/16 and 18/20
Please avoid any pajamas referencing family or holidays.
In celebration of this service project, we will have a schoolwide Pajama Day on Friday, 3/5.
Important Calendar Note: Due to the Special City Election on Tuesday, March 16th, we are switching the Tuesday and Wednesday schedules that week. All hybrid students will follow their “Wednesday” schedules on Tuesday, 3/16, and “Tuesday” schedules on Wednesday, 3/17. For Cohort A specifically, this means they will be learning at home on Tuesday and learning in-person at school on Wednesday.
Social Emotional Learning at Peirce: Skills that Parents can use at Home: Join us on Monday, March 29th, at 7:00 p.m. to learn about the SEL skills taught at school and practical tips for supporting our students’ social and emotional development at home. Many thanks to Fourth Grade Teacher Katie Busk and Parent Volunteer Lindsey Conkey for planning this event!

Absences: If your child will be absent from school for any reason on either in-person or at-home days, please call the Student Absence Line at 617-559-9650 before 8:00. Also, please be sure that teachers have accurate information about dismissal routines for your child.
