Help Peirce Shine with a Spring Cleanup for NewtonSERVES – Sun, 5/7 @ 10AM – 1PM

All Peirce families are invited to participate in the annual NewtonSERVES program and help with a spring cleanup of the grounds at Peirce on Sunday, May 7th 10am to 1pm. It’s a great way to join other Peirce and Newton families, show your school spirit, serve your community, and have fun getting your hands in dirt while enjoying pizza!  Among other things, we will be cleaning up the planting beds around the school, planting new shrubs and flowers, and adding wood chips to the Kindergarten playground. No special skills needed!  The PTO will provide pizza, but please bring your own water.

Families are invited to sign up for a shift or stay as long as you can! To assist with planning, please sign up here and let us know when you can come! In addition, we welcome any gardening equipment you might have (wheelbarrows, sheers, rakes, gloves) – we will gladly borrow these items and return at the end of the day.

Please contact NewtonSERVES planners – Robert McGehee ([email protected]), Claudia Arno ([email protected]) and Jaime Mason ([email protected]) with any questions.
