Here are your options for enrollment on the parent portal:

1. EARLY BIRDS (MTuWThF) 7:15 – 8:10 AM: This before school class has a mixed age (K-5) grouping. It has the same rich programming as our afternoon classes. 
2. MTuThF 2:50 – 6:20 PM:  This class is open to children in all grades. Once enrollment numbers are determined, groups will be made. Groups may consist of a single grade or mixed (adjacent) grades such as Kindergarten and First grade. This year, we had Minnows (K/1), Barracudas (2/3), and Sharks (4/5). Next year may be similar.
3. WEDNESDAYS 12:20 – 6:20 PM: This class is open to children in all grades. Once enrollment numbers are determined, groups will be made. Groups may consist of a single grade or mixed (adjacent) grades such as Kindergarten and First grade. This year, we had Minnows (K/1), Barracudas (2/3), and Sharks (4/5). Next year may be similar.

Some important things to note:

• Enrollment is first come, first serve. PEDP encourages you to register as soon as you are able in order to secure your child’s space in the Program. They often have a waitlist.
• Registration DEADLINE is Wednesday, April 13th.
• PEDP will confirm the status of your child’s 2022-23 enrollment schedule via email soon after the 4/13 deadline.
• PEDP believes the school calendar for 2022-2023 will likely have additional early release dates as in years past. Historically, there have been SIX early release days in addition to the weekly Wednesdays. If you sign up for that day of the week, you will be automatically enrolled in the corresponding early release days. PEDP will add classes to their portal when they learn the dates of these early releases for those who wish to add them if not already enrolled for that day of the week.
• Upon registration, a $100 nonrefundable fee is due. Your application is considered incomplete without it. Options for payment include:
  • Bank draft through the Parent Portal (Link above)
  • Check made payable to: Peirce Extended Day Program
  • Cash delivered personally to the PEDP office
• CURRENT tuition rates can be viewed on PEDP’s website and are figured on a range of $11-13/hour. The Board of Directors will not be voting on tuition rates for next year until later in the spring. Historically, increases have been 3-5%.
• Once you sign up, you may ADD or CHANGE days providing there is space but YOU MAY NOT DROP DAYS unless PEDP needs your child’s spot for a child on a waitlist. 
• Should you require financial assistance, you will need to fill out an additional application. Please contact the Program directly and they can email it to you.
• PEDP does not yet have a complete list of incoming Kindergartners. If you know a family in the Peirce district with an incoming K student, please share this information with them.
