Attention Peirce Families! The Book Fair will be here this week:
- Thursday, May 6th 9am-4pm
- Friday, May 7th, 8am-6pm
- Saturday, May 8th, 10am-2pm
We are excited to offer students the chance to attend this annual event and purchase books for your home and your child’s classroom. This year’s book fair will be held outside, in the rear of the school. Teachers will be bringing in-person classes to the fair on Thursday and Friday and we will be open for families to shop after school as well.
New this year! We are especially excited to invite the entire Peirce community, including our DLA families, to shop the book fair on Saturday, May 8th. Saturday’s event will also include an ice cream truck and a visit from the Peirce Panther!
In addition to accepting credit cards and cash, families can also utilize an on-line account called eWallet. Information on how to set up your child’s account can be found here: Parent How it Works (scholastic.com). Please make sure to tell your child how much money you have put into the pre-paid account!
Volunteers Needed!
We are seeking parent volunteers to support each classroom’s visit to the fair – to ensure safety protocols are followed and to help select good-fit books. We also need help before and after hours and on Saturday as well. Please sign up here:
