Specials/Specialist Teachers & Staff Donation Appeal

Being a part of the Peirce community is special for many reasons – one of those reasons is the amazing Specials Teachers, Specialist Teachers, and staff that make up the school. You have likely met many of them but did you know that this group consists of nearly 50 individuals, working in support of our children and our teachers? We are lucky, as such an intimate community, to have the benefit of so many specialized instructors that complement and extend Peirce’s learning resources. 

As such, we support this team through a fund, similar to that of the classroom teachers. This fund goes towards materials needed as well as staff appreciation. We seek to raise money to support this fund through two appeals – in Fall and Spring. 

Please consider contributing to the specials/specialists/staff fund, so we can show them our appreciation, by December 16th, using one of the methods listed below: 

Please include a transaction note that your contribution is for the specials teachers or specialist/staff fund (or both).  As a reminder, below are some of the specials/specialists that this fund will support:

Specials Teachers and School Nurse: Isabel Herbert (Physical Education), Georgia Smith (Art), Olivia de Geofroy (Chorus/Band/Music), Morgan Harper (Library), Hannah Danzinger (Nurse).

Specialists and Staff include but are not limited to: English Language Learning (ELL) specialists, special education teachers and specialists, instructional assistants, behavior therapists, math and literacy specialists, speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, school psychologist, janitorial staff, Kindergarten aide…and many more!
