We hope you are enjoying your summer!  We just learned of a family event at our neighborhood movie theater that we thought you may be interested in. 

Message from the West Newton Cinema Foundation: 
On August 3rd from 11:30-2:30 PM, the West Newton Cinema Foundation is hosting a family party for the release of Harold and the Purple Crayon! Here is a bit more about the event:

See your favorite children’s book brought to life on the big screen! Join us at the West Newton Cinema on August 3rd to celebrate the release of “Harold and the Purple Crayon” and beat the August heat!

With arts and crafts activities galore, everyone will get to make their creative vision a reality— just like Harold! Plus, we’re serving delicious snacks and drinks.

Come dressed in your finest purple outfits and take pictures in our Hollywood dress-up photo booth.

The party will begin at 11:30 AM. After the party, the movie will premiere at 12:30 PM!

Kidcasso and Trader Joe’s are sponsoring this event.

Come celebrate this delightful film with friends, family, and community at the West Newton Cinema. Your participation supports our efforts to preserve this beloved local theater.
