Raise your hand TODAY…

Picture Day Volunteers – Fri, 9/23.  Picture day will be held on Friday, September 23rd.  School staff have requested volunteer support from 8:20am – 12:30pm to help manage the logistics of the day.  To sign up for a shift, click here.

Bulletin Board. Unleash your creativity and help keep the school community informed!  The bulletin board manager updates the front and back boards with relevant information for students, parents, and caregivers.  Email [email protected] for more information.

Book Fair Planning Committee.  Planning for the fall Book Fair is underway and we need more help!  In addition to planning, committee members participate in the set-up and break-down each day and staff the Fair when it’s open. This year’s Fair will be held on Thursday, Oct 13, Friday, Oct 14, and Saturday, Oct 15.  This is a great way to participate in an annual event that brings joy to the entire school. Teacher & Staff Appreciation.  Help our community show our deep appreciation for the Peirce team by working with committee members and the PTO leadership to organize monthly appreciation events.  Email [email protected]  for more information.

We will begin recruiting volunteers for the following opportunities in the coming weeks.  Keep an eye on your inboxes!

Room Parents.  In addition to supporting teachers, specialists, and staff throughout the year, room parents will help build and foster community and connection between our students.

Library Volunteers.  Volunteers help in the library during class time including helping students check out books, shelving returned books, and lending a hand to Mr. Harper, Peirce’s librarian.

Book Fair Class Visits & Community Day.  Volunteers support each classroom’s visit to the October Book Fair, helping children select and purchase books as well as ensure safety protocols are followed. Volunteers also help with daily set-up, clean-up, and during the Saturday event (selling food and merchandise, running activities, etc.). 

Mystery Dinner Hosts.  A Peirce fall tradition, Mystery Dinner will be back this year and we are thrilled!  We will be looking for volunteers to host dinners at their homes (8 to 12 Peirce parents).  This is an adult-only event, bringing together new and returning families for a fun night of socializing.  It also raises significant funds to support programs organized by the PTO.
